In short

Without an account, your agenda stays on your device: we collect no data.
With an account we collect your email and the content you choose to sync, only to provide sync.
No ads, no behavioural analytics, no sale of data.
Under 16 (under 18 in India) the account belongs to a parent or guardian, who gives consent.
You can ask at any time to delete your account and data.

1. Data controller

The controller is Suli, developer of Joria, published on Google Play under the developer name Orbita Studio. For any privacy question write to [email protected].

2. Using Joria without an account

Activities, to-dos, notes, goals, habits, preferences and theme are stored only in your device's memory. We do not receive or see them.

If you export a copy of your agenda, the file stays where you save it and under your control. Exported copies are not encrypted by the app.

3. Using Joria with an account

The account is optional and syncs your agenda across your devices. In that case we process:

Email address and account identifier, to sign in with a code sent by email.
Agenda content you sync: titles, notes, dates, times, repetitions, completions, to-dos, goals, habits and the links between them, together with the account's time zone.
Technical sync data: revisions and receipts of changes, needed so that no data is lost or duplicated across devices.
Technical access data, such as IP address and request times, logged by the infrastructure provider to run and protect the service.
Only for accounts used by minors, the date and time of the parent's or guardian's confirmation (see section 4).

We do not ask for your name, phone number, contacts, GPS location, photos or any other data.

4. Children and teenagers

Joria is suitable for all ages. Used without an account it collects no personal data, whatever the user's age.

Before signing in, the app asks for the month and year of birth. The answer is not sent to us: the device keeps only the date from which the account can be used without a parent, never the birth date.

Many countries require a parent's consent for online services below a certain age (for example 13 in the United States, 14 in Italy, 16 in Germany). Joria applies the same threshold everywhere, 16 years, and 18 years in India, based on the device's region. If the person using the device is below that age:

the account belongs to the parent or guardian, who enters their own email, receives the code and confirms that they consent to the account and sync being used on the device;
we record the date and time of that confirmation on the account, so that the consent can be demonstrated;
the parent or guardian can ask at any time for access to, correction or deletion of the data.

If you believe a minor created an account without a parent's consent, write to us: we will delete the account and its data.

5. Weather for the atmospheres

The "Atmosphere" theme can adapt its colours to the weather of a place you choose. To do so the app contacts Open-Meteo, sending the searched name or the coordinates of the chosen place, never the device's location or agenda data. As with any Internet request, Open-Meteo also receives the device's IP address. This feature needs no account.

7. Who processes data on our behalf

Supabase: account database and authentication. Data is stored on servers in the European Union (Ireland).
Resend: sending sign-in code emails, from servers in the European Union (Ireland). It receives the email address and the message to deliver.

Supabase and Resend are based in the United States. Any transfer outside the European Union relies on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

We do not sell data or share it with advertisers. Joria contains no ads and no analytics or profiling tools.

8. How long we keep data

Account data is kept while the account is active. After a deletion request we erase it within 30 days, including content, sync data and the parental confirmation.
The provider's technical backups are overwritten in its normal rotation cycles.
Correspondence about a request is kept for at most 12 months, to show that it was handled.
Data on your device stays until you delete it in the app or uninstall Joria.

9. Security

Communication with the servers uses HTTPS only. The account session is kept in the operating system's protected storage. On the server, each account can read and change only its own data. The agenda stored on the device is not encrypted by the app and is protected by the device's own security, such as the screen lock and system encryption.

10. Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. As a parent or guardian you can withdraw your consent at any time: we will then delete the account. You can also export your agenda directly from the app.

To exercise your rights write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. For important changes we will let you know in the app.

In breve

Senza account, l’agenda resta sul tuo dispositivo: non raccogliamo dati.
Con un account raccogliamo l’email e i contenuti che scegli di sincronizzare, solo per offrirti la sincronizzazione.
Niente pubblicità, niente analisi del comportamento, niente vendita di dati.
Sotto i 16 anni (18 in India) l’account è intestato a un genitore o tutore, che dà il consenso.
Puoi chiedere in ogni momento di eliminare l’account e i dati.

1. Titolare del trattamento

Il titolare è Suli, sviluppatore di Joria, pubblicata su Google Play con il nome sviluppatore Orbita Studio. Per qualsiasi domanda sulla privacy scrivi a [email protected].

2. Usare Joria senza account

Attività, cose da fare, note, obiettivi, abitudini, preferenze e tema sono salvati soltanto nella memoria del dispositivo. Non li riceviamo e non li vediamo.

Se esporti una copia dell’agenda, il file resta dove scegli di salvarlo e sotto il tuo controllo. Le copie esportate non sono cifrate dall’app.

3. Usare Joria con un account

L’account è facoltativo e serve a sincronizzare l’agenda tra i tuoi dispositivi. In questo caso trattiamo:

Indirizzo email e identificativo dell’account, per l’accesso con un codice inviato via email.
Contenuti dell’agenda che sincronizzi: titoli, note, date, orari, ripetizioni, completamenti, cose da fare, obiettivi, abitudini e collegamenti tra loro, insieme al fuso orario dell’account.
Dati tecnici di sincronizzazione: revisioni e ricevute delle modifiche, necessari per non perdere o duplicare dati tra dispositivi.
Dati tecnici di accesso, come indirizzo IP e data e ora delle richieste, registrati dal fornitore dell’infrastruttura per far funzionare e proteggere il servizio.
Solo per gli account usati da minori, data e ora della conferma del genitore o tutore (vedi sezione 4).

Non chiediamo nome, numero di telefono, contatti, posizione GPS, foto o altri dati.

4. Bambini e ragazzi

Joria è adatta a tutte le età. Usata senza account, non raccoglie dati personali, qualunque sia l’età di chi la usa.

Prima di accedere a un account, l’app chiede mese e anno di nascita. La risposta non viene inviata a noi: sul dispositivo resta soltanto la data dalla quale l’account può essere usato senza un genitore, mai la data di nascita.

Molti paesi richiedono il consenso di un genitore per i servizi online sotto una certa età (per esempio 13 anni negli Stati Uniti, 14 in Italia, 16 in Germania). Joria applica ovunque la stessa soglia, 16 anni, e 18 anni in India, in base alla regione del dispositivo. Se chi usa il dispositivo è sotto questa età:

l’account è intestato al genitore o tutore, che inserisce la propria email, riceve il codice e conferma di acconsentire all’uso dell’account e della sincronizzazione sul dispositivo;
registriamo nell’account data e ora di questa conferma, per poter dimostrare il consenso;
il genitore o tutore può chiedere in ogni momento accesso, correzione o eliminazione dei dati.

Se ritieni che un minore abbia creato un account senza il consenso di un genitore, scrivici: elimineremo l’account e i dati.

5. Meteo per le atmosfere

Il tema “Atmosfera” può adattare i colori al meteo di una località che scegli tu. Per farlo l’app contatta Open-Meteo, inviando il nome cercato o le coordinate della località scelta, mai la posizione del dispositivo né dati dell’agenda. Come per ogni richiesta su Internet, Open-Meteo riceve anche l’indirizzo IP del dispositivo. Questa funzione non richiede un account.

7. Chi tratta i dati per nostro conto

Supabase: database e autenticazione dell’account. I dati sono conservati su server nell’Unione europea (Irlanda).
Resend: invio delle email con il codice di accesso, da server nell’Unione europea (Irlanda). Riceve l’indirizzo email e il messaggio da consegnare.

Supabase e Resend hanno sede negli Stati Uniti. Gli eventuali trasferimenti fuori dall’Unione europea avvengono con le garanzie previste dal GDPR, come le clausole contrattuali standard della Commissione europea o il Data Privacy Framework UE-USA.

Non vendiamo dati e non li condividiamo con inserzionisti. Joria non contiene pubblicità né strumenti di analisi o profilazione.

8. Per quanto tempo conserviamo i dati

I dati dell’account restano finché l’account è attivo. Dopo una richiesta di eliminazione li cancelliamo entro 30 giorni, compresi contenuti, dati di sincronizzazione e conferma del genitore.
Le copie di sicurezza tecniche del fornitore vengono sovrascritte nei suoi normali cicli di rotazione.
La corrispondenza relativa a una richiesta viene conservata al massimo 12 mesi, per dimostrare di averla gestita.
I dati sul dispositivo restano finché non li elimini nell’app o non disinstalli Joria.

9. Sicurezza

Le comunicazioni con i server avvengono solo tramite HTTPS. La sessione dell’account è conservata nell’archivio protetto del sistema operativo. Sul server, ogni account può leggere e modificare soltanto i propri dati. L’agenda salvata sul dispositivo non è cifrata dall’app ed è protetta dalle misure di sicurezza del dispositivo, come il blocco schermo e la cifratura di sistema.

10. I tuoi diritti

Puoi chiedere accesso, rettifica, cancellazione, limitazione, portabilità dei dati e opporti al trattamento basato sul legittimo interesse. Puoi revocare in ogni momento il consenso dato come genitore o tutore: in quel caso elimineremo l’account. Puoi anche esportare l’agenda direttamente dall’app.

Per esercitare i tuoi diritti scrivi a [email protected]. Rispondiamo entro 30 giorni. Puoi anche presentare reclamo all’autorità per la protezione dei dati del tuo paese; in Italia, il Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

11. Modifiche

Se cambiamo questa informativa aggiorneremo la data in alto. Per modifiche importanti ti avviseremo nell’app.
